Sporthorse Testing Center: Fecal Egg Count Test

All fecal tests are for local Aiken customers only. Customers must collect their own samples.

This test detects the presence of strongyles and ascarids in your horse as part of a deworming program in place with your veterinarian.

It is recommended to perform this test at least twice yearly for every horse in your herd by collecting 2 fecal balls from a fresh, clean pile of manure and placing in a ziplock bag. Keep contents cool/refrigerated and bring to the testing center within 12 hours of collection.

Fecal tests are included for all Equine Total Care participants.
